Staying Safe
Food banks are considered an essential service, which is why we take extra precautions to keep our clients, volunteers and staff safe.

Welcome to Friends in Need Food Bank — a place of hope, compassion, and community. Since the early 1980s, we have been dedicated to reducing hunger and providing nutritious food to those who need it most.
Each month we support more than 3,000 individuals in Maple Ridge and Pitt Meadows, ensuring families, seniors, and individuals have access to healthy food and care items.
Thanks to the generosity of our donors, volunteers, and partners, we are committed not only to feeding people but also to building a healthier, stronger, and more connected community.
We invite you to explore our website to learn about our programs, discover ways to get involved, and see how your support can make a real difference.
Whether you are here for assistance, looking to volunteer, or wishing to contribute, you are in the right place. Together we can change lives and strengthen the bonds that make our community thrive.
Join us today — donate, volunteer, or spread the word. Every action helps put food on the table for our neighbours in need.
Welcome to a community of compassion, hope, and care.
